102nd Zen Story
In the daily quota of forwarded email that I receive and read I received one from my friend a couple of days back.It had one of those cloud formations picture frequently sent over internet. This one had Cloud formation resembling Buddha Seated in Lotus Posture.My Friend had put a query to me: Is it real
Our mail conversation from that point on took interesting turn.I share it here....
She: Is it real?
Me: Does it matter?
She: It Does !!!
Me: How does it matter if he is up there for real or not.what matters is I am here at this moment.More important is realizing my own Buddha nature ,my trueself.He has already realized his .
She: The discussion is closed !!!
Me: Let us close the discussion on a musical note "Forever Trust In Who We Are And Nothing Else Matters - Metallica"
The Conversation sounded funny for a while & having won the argument ,maybe it massaged my ego too.But on hindsight it did bring out one truth Realization of ones True Self.
On that front its miles to go for me ....

A New Pair Of Sandals....
I bought a pair of sandals, they really looked nice and one look at them I decided to buy them. It was like a story of love at first sight.
I tried them on in the shop they fitted well and felt great to my feet. I couldn’t wait till I could start using them .With lots of joy and anticipation I wore them, as I walked on road I started to experience shoe-bite and rather than enjoying the feeling of wearing great pair of shoes all that I could feel was pain and agony, On returning from my walk I saw my feet had blisters on them.
Now I am wondering whether to chuck the pair or continue using them in a hope that my feet and the shoes will gradually arrive at common understanding and will adjust to each other over a period of time
